Smallville

Tom took the role of Clark Kent in Smallville in September 2001, and helped to redefine Clark for a new generation of Superman fans. Tom has also directed several Smallville episodes.
Cheaper by the Dozen

Tom made his feature film debut in Cheaper by the Dozen in December 2003, co-starring with Steve Martin and Bonnie Hunt. Tom played Charlie Baker, the eldest son.
The Fog

Tom's first lead role was in the horror film, The Fog, which was released in October of 2005, in which he played Nick Castle. The Fog was a remake of the cult horror film by John Carpenter.

Due to the success of the first move, a sequel was made, and was released in December 2005. Tom reprised his role as Charlie Baker for the film.
